Gala Concert Aeji Jo · Official Opening

On Friday 9 October 2026, our cultural residence at the Lijnwaadmarkt officially opens its doors, and we celebrate that moment the way this house was meant to: with music.

The honour of the very first evening belongs to international Korean pianist Aeji Jo, who makes her official debut at The Antwerp Pianist. At the acoustic grand piano, the beating heart of the house, she performs a programme spanning four centuries of piano music: Bach, Chopin, Haydn and Rachmaninoff, shared in the intimacy of a salon of thirty guests.

You are welcome from 7 pm. On arrival, you will be offered a glass of red wine by The Antwerp Pianist – included in your ticket. The wine bar will be open while you discover the house: the high ceilings, the stained-glass light, the warmth of bordeaux, cream and gold. The recital starts at 8 pm sharp.

Tickets € 30 excl. VAT per person · including a welcome glass of red wine, offered by The Antwerp Pianist. Seats are limited to 30 guests. Festive attire.
